Mhiim Marcus Rickman Rhia

Marcus Rickman, MHIIM, RHIA has a strong background in health information management. Marcus served as the Director of Health Information Management/Privacy Officer at Henry County Medical Center since 2017. Prior to that, they worked at National HealthCare Corporation from 2013 to 2017. At National HealthCare Corporation, Marcus held multiple roles, including Regional Health Information Management Director/Quality Improvement and Director of Health Information Management/Quality Improvement Coordinator. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing the health information departments, evaluating compliance with licensing and accrediting agencies, assessing the effectiveness of patient record systems, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of medical records. Marcus has extensive experience in managing health information systems and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Marcus Rickman completed a Master's degree in Health Informatics and Information Management from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, in 2011, they pursued Pre-Health Informatics at the University of Tennessee at Martin for a brief period. Starting from 2008 to 2010, they attended Jackson State Community College, although the specific degree and field of study during that time are unknown.
