Alec James

Alec James has a varied work experience in different industries. In 1997, they began working as a Freelance Writer for various online and print publications, where they wrote and edited articles, reviews, and other content. Alec was published in multiple publications and also worked on editing projects. In 2005, they joined SDI Media as a Film Subtitle and Dubbing List Writer/Editor, where they transcribed feature films for translation and localization. Alec also wrote and edited a master list of annotations and contributed to various film projects. In 2013, they started working at IMT Residential, initially as a Risk Management Assistant and progressed to higher roles within the company, including Senior Risk Management Analyst. Finally, in 2022, they joined The Huntington as a Facilities Project Coordinator.

Alec James attended Santa Monica College from 1986 to 1996, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Later, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Arts, Media: Film from UC San Diego.
