Jessamy Gloor

Paper Conservator at The Huntington

Jessamy Gloor is an experienced Paper Conservator at Huntington Library since May 2012, specializing in the conservation of manuscripts, prints, posters, photographic materials, and works of art on paper, while adhering to AIC guidelines. Prior roles include Project Conservator for the Kemble Maritime Collection, Bedford Lemere Photographic Conservator at English Heritage, and Conservator at RCAHMS. Gloor has also held various positions as a conservation intern and volunteer across notable institutions, including The British Museum and Seattle Art Museum, as well as teaching art techniques to children at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Conservation of Fine Art from Northumbria University and a BA with Honors in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Mills College.
