Nick Menzies

Nick Menzies currently serves as a Research Fellow in Chinese Botanical Resources at Huntington Library, a position held since June 2015. Prior experience includes a tenure as Executive Director of the UCLA Asia Institute from 2006 to December 2014, where responsibilities encompassed administration, budgeting, and management of research and outreach programs focused on Asia. From 1990 to 2001, Nick Menzies worked as a Program Officer at the Ford Foundation. Academic credentials include a PhD in Wildland Resources Science (Forestry) from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Oriental Studies (Chinese) from the University of Cambridge, supplemented by a Certificate of Studies in Chinese Literature from Peking University.
