Dipak Maskey, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at Henry Ford Health System, specializing in cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemical analysis with extensive experience in independent and collaborative research projects. Currently, Dipak manages transgenic animal colonies and conducts gene editing using CRISPR/Cas9 and RNA interference techniques. Prior experience includes investigating molecular mechanisms in oncogenes during a tenure as a Research Scientist in the Department of Pathology at Henry Ford Health System and conducting research on ciliogenesis and cell cycle at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dipak's early career involved molecular biology research at the University of Bern, where project management skills were utilized to evaluate the efficacy of chemotherapeutic agents. Dipak holds a Ph.D. in Cell, Molecular and Cancer Biology from the University of Bern and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Skövde.
