Gerald Koenig M.D./Ph.D.

Gerald Koenig MD/PhD serves as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Chief of Medicine at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital since July 2012. In addition, Gerald Koenig holds the position of Director of Clinical Research and Senior Staff Cardiologist at Henry Ford Health System since 2010. Since 2012, Gerald Koenig has been a Clinical Associate Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, Gerald Koenig completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology, as well as an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency Program at the University of Michigan.
