David King, Ph.D., is a seasoned biostatistician currently employed at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation since August 2018. With extensive teaching experience, David served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Indiana University from June 2014 to May 2022, where courses included longitudinal data analysis and probability. Prior to this, David was a Lecturer at the University of Maryland from September 2013 to May 2014, focusing on quantitative methods in public health. David's professional background also includes a role as a Mathematical Statistician at the FDA, where responsibilities involved reviewing drug applications, and as a Senior Principal Engineer at Raytheon Missile Systems, where Bayesian models for missile reliability were constructed. David holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Arizona State University, a Master's degree in Mathematics from Washington State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from UTEP.
