James Grosser MRICS MAIQS has a diverse work experience in the construction and real estate industry. James started their career as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor at Henry Riley, where they provided pre and post-contract delivery services for Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd. James worked on projects ranging from a Sainsbury's Supermarket construction to associated works, with a total project value of approximately £30m.

James then moved on to Turner & Townsend, where they held the position of Assistant Cost Manager. Here, they managed the cost of retail branch refurbishment projects within the Barclays UK Branch Network Development Programme, from early-stage design to final account negotiations and agreements.

During their time at Barclays Investment Bank, James assumed the role of COO Performance MI Manager within the Chief Operating Office Corporate Real Estate Services team. James produced client and management information reports on a quarterly and monthly basis, focusing on risk, financial, environmental, capital projects, stakeholder, and occupancy data for Barclays' property portfolio across Europe.

Returning to Henry Riley, they progressed through various roles, including Quantity Surveyor, Associate, Associate Director, Technical Director, and currently Project Director. Throughout these positions, they developed expertise in cost management and supported decision-making for clients. James'sexperience spans sectors such as banking & finance, retail, education, religious, industrial, and leisure, with projects ranging from £500k to £30m.

In 2017, James relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where they focused on the retail, leisure, and banking & finance sectors, working with key clients while also exploring opportunities with new clients.

James Grosser MRICS MAIQS completed their education at the University of Reading from 2007 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Quantity Surveying. James previously attended The John Fisher School from 2000 to 2007, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
