Ross Nolan

Ross Nolan serves as the Technology Platform Lead for Thermomechanical Processing at the Henry Royce Institute since June 2019, providing strategic scientific leadership and coordinating community events to enhance research opportunities. Prior to this role, Ross held the position of Experimental Officer, operating and maintaining advanced equipment related to thermomechanical processing and analytical techniques. Earlier experience includes a role as a Failure Metallurgist at Exova Group plc, where investigations into component failures across various industries were conducted to provide solutions and recommendations. Ross holds a PhD in Materials Science and an MChem in Chemistry, both from The University of Manchester.
