Fabio Benavides

Fabio Benavides is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Henry Schein One since November 2022, Fabio specializes in Dentrix Enterprise software, utilizing C# and C++. Previously, as a Sr FullStack Software Engineer and Team Lead at GreenSlate, Fabio collaborated with Product Owners and stakeholders, handled ticket management, and honed Full Stack development skills using the Microsoft stack, AWS, and various front-end technologies. Fabio's earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer positions at Intertec International and Fiserv, and key contributions as a freelance Software Engineer focused on PHP, C#, and web technologies. Starting in 2002, management and leadership roles at Interdesa Net involved overseeing software development and support, along with managing several open-source software installations. Fabio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
