Michael Hughes

Michael Hughes has extensive experience in supply chain management and operations, currently serving as the VP of North American Supply Chain and Global Projects at Henry Schein since January 2012. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing Inventory Management, Transportation, EDI, and process improvement initiatives. Prior to this position, Michael held the role of Vice President of Supply Chain at Star Gas Partners, L.P., where significant achievements included an 85% increase in annual bottom line profit and a 15% reduction in branch expenses. Additionally, serving as CEO and President of Hughes Corporation and Vice President of Engineering at UPS, Michael led large teams in operational improvements and facility planning for vast networks. Educational credentials include a BS in Operations Management from American Intercontinental University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bernard Baruch College.
