Lisa Tanno has extensive experience in the design industry, starting with their role as an Analyst at CS First Boston from 1992 to 1995. Lisa then worked as a Designer at Rogers Marvel Architects from 2000 to 2002 and as a Project Manager at Platt Dana Architects from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, Lisa co-founded Aldridge & Tanno, an architecture practice where they served as Principal until 2016. During their time at Aldridge & Tanno, they focused on delivering innovative design solutions and providing architectural, interior, and product design services. Lisa's most recent role is as Vice President of Design at Henrybuilt, which they started in 2016. In this position, they lead a bi-coastal design team, driving business growth and elevating client success through intelligent creative visions. Lisa creates comprehensive roadmaps for implementing design initiatives and maintaining standards across key business segments. Prior to becoming Vice President, Lisa held the positions of Director of Design and Senior Designer at Henrybuilt.
Lisa Tanno has a diverse educational background. Lisa attended Punahou School from 1975 to 1988 for their high school education. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance at The Wharton School from 1988 to 1992. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania. Following their undergraduate studies, Lisa attended Harvard University Graduate School of Design from 1996 to 2000, where they earned their Master of Architecture (MArch) degree. The field of study for their Master's degree was Architecture.
