Thomas Schäffler

Thomas Schmelzle is an experienced industrial designer with a strong background in production design, graphic design, and web design. Currently serving as an Industrial Designer at SDI Technologies, Inc. since August 2022, Thomas previously worked as a Production Designer at Nephros, where responsibilities included creating materials for medical and commercial filtration, alongside 3D product modeling. Prior roles include Graphic and Web Designer at Matrix Mirrors, where Thomas focused on UI/UX and graphical redesign, and Multimedia Studio Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where responsibilities involved large format printing and assisting users with digital assets. Thomas also acted as Launchpad Lead Student Coordinator for design expos at Georgia Tech and served as a CAD Modeling Consultant for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from Georgia Institute of Technology and participated in an exchange program at Eindhoven University of Technology.
