Gary S. Jacob

Gary S. Jacob, Ph.D. has served as Chairman and Director of Hepion since May 2013. Dr. Jacob served as Chief Executive Officer of Callisto Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from May 2003 until January 2013 and a director from October 2004 until January 2013. Dr. Jacob currently serves as a director of Trovagene, Inc., a public diagnostics company and was a director and Chief Executive Officer of Synergy Pharmaceuticals Inc. from 2008 to 2018. Dr. Jacob has over twenty-five years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries across multiple disciplines.
