Jos Dreesen has a diverse work experience in the field of electronics engineering. Jos started as a Design Engineer at Philips Semiconductors in 1991, where they designed, verified, and evaluated Baseband Interface mixed signal IC's for mobile applications. Jos worked there until 2006 and was involved in the successful production of the PCF50732, with 250 million pieces produced.
From 2006 to 2009, Jos worked at NXP as a Senior Design Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing and verifying baseband interface IC's and chiplets. Jos also handled the design of digital parts in mixed signals blocks and verified the complete mixed signal block using SystemC, VHDL, and VHDL-reals based analog models.
After that, Jos joined ST-Ericsson in 2009 as a Principal Development Engineer. Here, they focused on the design and verification of mixed-mode baseband interface IC's. Jos used Verilog-AMS and real-based models for top-level mixed-signal verification.
Jos then worked for Heptagon as an Electronics Engineer starting in 2013, although the end date is not provided. Currently, they are not looking for opportunities but has expressed interest in projects involving computers that are +30 years old.
Finally, Jos has expressed availability for new opportunities related to firmware, FPGA, and digital electronics. The company they are referring to is not mentioned.
Jos Dreesen received a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hogeschool PXL, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Jos also attended HSR Rapperswil from 2000 to 2001, where they pursued NDS informatics without earning a specified degree.
