Sebastian Niederauer

Sebastian Niederauer has extensive work experience in information security and data protection. Sebastian is currently serving as the Head of Information security & data protection at Herba Chemosan Apotheker-AG since 2022. Previously, they held the role of Lead Information Security Analyst McK and Data Protection Officer at McKesson Europe AG from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Herba Chemosan Apotheker-AG as the Head of Local IT-Governance, Risk & Compliance; Data Protection Officer from 2015 to 2019 and as an IT Governance Manager from 2015 to 2018. Sebastian also has experience working as a Senior Consultant and Consultant for EY from 2011 to 2015.

Sebastian Niederauer has a strong educational background in IT and management. Sebastian completed their Bachelor of Science in Informationsmanagement at FH Joanneum from 2008 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts in IT-Recht & Management at the same institution, graduating in 2013.
