Lewis Saffin

Lewis Saffin is an Associate in Corporate Funds and Asset Management at Herbert Smith Freehills since August 2018, specializing in asset management and investment fund operations, as well as advising on mergers and acquisitions for fund clients. Prior experience includes serving as a Trainee Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills across multiple practices, including Debt Capital Markets and General Commercial Litigation, with secondments at EDF Energy as a Legal Counsel and Trainee Solicitor. Lewis also gained international experience through an internship at GvW Graf von Westphalen in Germany. A Master of Laws (LLM) graduate from Universität des Saarlandes and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) graduate from the University of Exeter, Lewis was selected for a competitive summer vacation scheme at Herbert Smith Freehills and has officiated youth football matches as a self-employed, FA-qualified referee.
