Marlo Osborne-Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career as a Lawyer and Articled Clerk at Allens in 1998. From 1999 to 2002, they worked in legal recruitment and HR for various companies. They then returned to Allens in 2002 as a Business Development Manager in Litigation & Dispute Resolution until 2006. From 2007 to 2009, Marlo served as the Business Development Manager for Asian offices at Allens Arthur Robinson. In 2012, they joined Herbert Smith Freehills as a Client Relationship Manager/Head of Clients APAC, where they worked until 2018. In 2019, Marlo joined PwC as a Director, helping establish the Australian NewLaw practice and integrating it with PwC's wider offering. Currently, Marlo is working as a BD Director, Client Growth at Herbert Smith Freehills starting from 2023.

Marlo Osborne-Smith completed a High School Certificate at Gippsland Grammar School in Sale, from 1986 to 1991. Following that, from 1993 to 1997, Marlo attended Monash University and earned a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA/LLB) degree, with a focus on Politics.
