Sarah MacDonald

Sarah MacDonald is a solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills since February 2023, following a law graduate position with the firm. Previously, Sarah served as a contributing writer for Wellbeing WILD Magazine and held various roles at The Routing Company, including legal and communications specialist and paralegal and communications advisor. Sarah was also the managing student editor of Human Rights Defender magazine and a vacation clerk at Herbert Smith Freehills. Additional experience includes positions as associate editor at the Australian Journal of Human Rights, legal intern at NOVA Entertainment, and legal content editor at LegalVision. Sarah began a career in the legal field as a legal secretary at Kosmin and Associates and contributed to content creation at UNSW. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Media (Communication and Journalism) from UNSW, and completed secondary education at The Friends' School in Hobart, Tasmania.
