Twan Hurkmans

Twan Hurkmans has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and project management. Twan is currently serving as an IT Project Manager at GroenLeven since April 2023. Prior to this, Twan worked as an ERP Project Manager at Cementbouw and VVM Cement from January 2023 onwards. From January 2021 to December 2022, they held the position of Head of Information Systems at Kingspan Light + Air. Before that, Twan served as the Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Colt Group Ltd from August 2018 to December 2022. Twan also worked as a Group IM Manager at Van Hessen from June 2017 to July 2018 and Manager IT & Information Management at Teeuwissen Group from January 2016 to July 2018. Twan gained further experience at Facilicom, where they served in various roles including Business Information Manager, IT (Project) Manager, SAP Manager Applications & Mobility, and ICT S&D from February 2008 to December 2015. Prior to Facilicom, they worked at Dimensys as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager for SAP Netweaver from September 2006 to February 2008. Twan's earlier work experience includes positions at Facilicom as a Project Manager, Senior Software Architect / Engineer for DynamicsAX and IBM I-series from April 2003 to September 2006, and at THBcon as a ZZP-er, Project Manager, Senior Software Architect / Engineer, and Senior Consultant from July 2000 to April 2003.

Twan Hurkmans attended PION (WO) in 1988, where they studied Informatica (Software engineering) and completed a course in Hogere opleiding Software engineer. In the period from 1981 to 1986, they studied at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN), where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in onderwijs. Twan'sfields of study during this time were Nederlands (2e graad) and Geschiedenis (3e graad).
