Evan Salzbrenner

Evan Salzbrenner has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Evan is currently working as a Frontend Engineer at Here Not There Labs since October 2022. Prior to this, Evan worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer at a remote company from May 2022 to September 2022.

From January 2021 to April 2022, they served as a Frontend Tech Lead at Active Theory, where they played a significant role in leading the development of a web-based digital events platform for clients such as Google, Hubspot, and Sundance. Evan'sresponsibilities included contributing to the component library, scoping and delivering features at the event and platform levels.

Before that, from August 2017 to December 2020, Evan worked as a Web Engineer at Urban Insight. Evan took on the role of lead Angular engineer and was responsible for translating complex data-driven APIs into interactive user interfaces. Additionally, they engineered a custom PDF generation workflow using Node and Puppeteer.

From March 2016 to June 2017, Evan worked as a Web Developer at Herman-Scheer, where they were part of a development team building custom component-based websites. Evan coded complex animations and architectures to bring designers' visions to life and helped establish a Kanban and sprint-based workflow.

Prior to that, from April 2015 to March 2016, Evan served as a Frontend Developer at Law Promo. Evan improved the company's development workflow and implemented build tools like Grunt/Gulp. Evan also initiated the creation of a development styleguide and provided guidance to new hires.

In the earlier stages of their career, Evan worked as an Academia Program Manager at Prime International School from April 2012 to April 2015. In addition to teaching responsibilities, they worked alongside the manager to meet project deadlines, conducted interviews, created schedules, and trained new teachers.

Before that, from May 2010 to May 2011, Evan served as an ESL Teacher at Tratsansernwittayakom School/ TEFL International in rural Thailand. Evan implemented an English language curriculum for groups of students and provided staff development in English.

Evan Salzbrenner has a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Auburn University, with a field of study in Computer Science. Additionally, Evan has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English & Creative Writing from the University of Arizona. Evan also holds a TEFL certification from TEFL International, although the month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
