Brian McHugh began their work experience in 1998 as a Senior Account Executive at IBM. Brian was responsible for generating over $6.7 million in revenue for the Cognos software products and services in an 8-state region. From 2003 to 2007, Brian worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Blackboard, leading a team and generating $20.6 million in revenue from licensing and cloud hosting services. Following this, from 2007 to 2010, they served as a Regional Manager at Hewlett-Packard, overseeing the Berkshire Hathaway account and managing an IT spend of close to $40 million annually. Brian then joined Cisco Systems as a Regional Manager from 2010 to 2013, responsible for $71 million in business and forming strong partnerships with various companies. Brian went on to work at VMware as a Client Executive from 2014 to 2019 before joining Google as an Enterprise Sales professional. At Google, they held various roles, including Enterprise Sales for the Central US and later the entire United States, contributing to the growth of Google Cloud. Currently, Brian is the Vice President of Sales at HERITAGE, an event and trade show contractor, where they focus on strategic initiatives and client partnerships.
Brian McHugh attended Plymouth State University from 1988 to 1992. Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a focus on Communications during this time. Additionally, from 1989 to 1992, Brian was a member of the Plymouth State Norsemen Rugby team. Furthermore, they served as a Radio Personality for WPCR 91.7 FM, specializing in Communication and Media Studies, from 1990 to 1992.
