John Gideon has a solid work experience in the banking industry. John started their career at Bank of Crocker in 2005, where they held the position of Vice President for over five years. In 2011, they joined Heritage Bank of the Ozarks as a Vice President and continued to progress within the company. John was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2016 and served in this role until 2021. From 2021 to 2023, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Senior Credit Officer. Currently, they hold the role of Executive Vice President - Senior Credit Officer at Heritage Bank of the Ozarks.
John Gideon's education history includes obtaining a Professional Certificate in Banking and Financial Support Services from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Professional Certificate in Banking and Financial Support Services from the Missouri School of Bank Management, offered by the Missouri Bankers Association, in 2007. John also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Management with an Emphasis in History and Religion from Mid America Nazarene University, which they completed in 2005.
