David Sorel has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. David currently works at Heritage Cannabis as the Head of Quality & Operational Excellence since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Novartis from 2012 to 2019, holding positions such as Operational Excellence Manager, Production and maintenance Senior Supervisor, and Technological Transfert Specialist. Before Novartis, they worked at Caribbean Full Concept SAS as the CEO - Senior consultant engineer - Transition manager from 2007 to 2012. David also had roles at Pôle emploi as a Coach and trainer for executives from 2008 to 2012, and at SAMEX as the Chief Operations Officer in 2009. Additionally, they have held positions at Centre Technique de la Canne et du Sucre, Societe Martiniquaise des Eaux de Source - Spring water, Colibri Chips, Caribbean Industry and Development of Renewable Energies, and Danone, where they held various managerial and engineering roles.

David Sorel's education history is as follows:

In 1991, David attended Collège Coridon for four years, completing their general education.

From 1995 to 1998, David attended Lycée Schoelcher, where they obtained their Baccalaureat in Mathematics.

In 1998, David enrolled at Institut Supérieur Agricole de Beauvais and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Environmental and Food Sciences, which they completed in 2001.

David continued their education at the same institution and earned an Engineer/Master of Science degree in Agriculture and Food Industry Management from Institut Supérieur Agricole de Beauvais in 2003.

In 2021, David pursued additional certifications to enhance their professional skills. David completed the Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program offered by The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC). David also obtained the Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence Certification (CMQ/OE) from ASQ, which specialized in Operational Excellence.
