Gary Wilson

Gary Wilson has a diverse background in information technology, spanning over multiple roles and industries. Gary currently works at Heritage Communities as the Director of Information Technology, where they lead and supports the technology needs for home office and senior living communities. Prior to this, Gary was a Senior System Administrator at the same company, responsible for troubleshooting issues and maintaining hardware and applications.

Before joining Heritage Communities, Gary worked as an Application System Engineer at Omaha Public Power District, where they analyzed and documented systems and implemented processes in multiple applications. Gary also worked at REDiTECH as a System Administrator, managing technology systems for various companies in the Omaha area and participating in research and development for infrastructure innovation.

Gary's career also includes experience as a Service Desk Analyst at Interpublic Group (IPG), where they managed active directory and server security structures and administered Exchange 2013 environment. Gary worked as an Audio Engineer at Dub Factory Studios, providing services in audio, photography, video, and web-based media production.

In addition, Gary worked as an Information Technology Service Desk analyst at Kiewit, troubleshooting software and hardware issues and providing admin support. Gary also has experience as an Application Developer, creating and maintaining websites and databases, and as a Service Desk Administrator at American Enterprise Group, Inc., providing technical support and customer service.

Gary began their career in 2001 at Werner Enterprises, where they held roles such as Project Manager, Instructional Designer, and Desktop Support Technician.
