Heritage Conservancy
Sebastian Harris is a professional in the field of conservation and wildlife management, currently serving as a Conservation Easement Steward at Heritage Conservancy since October 2021. Previous roles include Wildlife Technician at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, Biological Science Lab Technician at USDA, and Forest Insect Pest Aide (FIPA) 1 at the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, among others. Sebastian has a strong educational background, pursuing a PhD in Computational and Integrative Biology at Rutgers University - Camden and holding a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Delaware Valley University. Experience includes significant fieldwork related to Timber Rattlesnake surveys and various technician positions focused on wildlife conservation.

Heritage Conservancy's mission is to preserve and protect our natural and historic heritage. Based in Bucks County, PA, Heritage Conservancy is committed to being the region’s premier, nationally accredited conservator. We are a community based organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of significant open spaces, natural resources, and our historic heritage. A champion of conservation best practices, Heritage Conservancy believes that everyone is responsible for stewardship and seeks to enlighten, engage, and empower others to help achieve this mutual vision. To date, our organization has facilitated in the preservation of more than 13,500 acres of open spaces, farmland, wildlife habitat, and important watershed areas in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. We've also designated more than 600 historic structures on our Register of Historic Places to recognize their architectural integrity that comprises the character of our region. Heritage Conservancy aims to connect our community with the beautiful natural and historic heritage that surrounds us while protecting our area's quality of life.
