Raquel Moya-Casals

Raquel Moya-Casals is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade in various roles within the legal field. Currently serving as Senior Staff Counsel at Heritage Insurance since December 2018, Raquel previously held positions at Colodny Fass, P.A. as a Senior Associate Attorney, and at Farrell & Patel, Attorneys at Law as an Associate Attorney, where responsibilities included managing Social Security Disability claims and overseeing litigation matters. Prior legal experience includes litigating insurance defense cases at Lydecker Diaz and completing a Certified Legal Internship at the Office of the State Attorney, focusing on criminal trials. Raquel began the legal career as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Paul L. Backman, following an earlier role as Assistant City Clerk for the City of Weston. Raquel holds a Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from Nova Southeastern University.
