Yannis Angouras

Yannis Angouras has significant experience in healthcare leadership roles. Yannis is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Heritage Oaks Hospital since 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Functional Aesthetic Center starting in 2020. From 2021 to 2023, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Aldara Hospital and Medical Center, overseeing day-to-day operations and growth. Yannis also has experience at Kaiser Permanente, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Los Angeles Medical Center from 2017 to 2020. Before that, they held the role of Assistant Medical Center Administrator of Operations and Strategy at Kaiser Permanente from 2012 to 2017, with responsibility over various departments. Yannis began their career as the Hospital Chief Executive Officer and President of the Board at the Greek Ministry of Health from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they served as the COO and Co-Owner at Medical Care and Dermazen Group from 1996 to 2001.

Yannis Angouras has a diverse educational background. Yannis obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Athens University of Economics and Business in 1993. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Southern California, completing it between 2007 and 2009.

Yannis also engaged in several executive and leadership programs. In 2016, they completed the Advanced Management Program sponsored by KP at the USC Marshall School of Business, focusing on Organizational Leadership. Continuing their focus on leadership development, in 2017, Yannis attended the Executive Leadership Program sponsored by KP at Harvard Business School Executive Education.

Additionally, Yannis holds a Certification in Community Organization and Advocacy from the Southern California Leadership Network, which they obtained in 2016. In 2011, they earned a Six Sigma Gold Belt, sponsored by Providence Health, from the Six Sigma Academy.
