Janikke Klem

Janikke Klem has a diverse work experience spanning many years. Janikke currently works as the SVP, Nonprofit and Community Relations Officer at Heritage Bank of Commerce. Prior to this, they established their own consulting business, JKlem Consulting, where they focused on helping companies and organizations maximize their potential through community engagement, public policy, and philanthropy.

Earlier in their career, Klem held various roles at the San Jose Chamber of Commerce, including Director of Leadership San Jose and Foundation Board Chair. Janikke also served as a Board Member at the SVLG Foundation, where they supported community engagement and public policy analysis in the Silicon Valley region. Additionally, Klem worked as a Strategic Advisor at the Urban Catalyst Fund.

Before transitioning to the banking and consulting industry, Klem held positions at Technology Credit Union, Lionheart Wines, San Jose State University, the California Family Health Council, and Branham Dance Center. At Technology Credit Union, they were the Vice President of Community and Government Relations, overseeing corporate social responsibility and government relations practices. Furthermore, Klem served as the Director of Alumni Engagement and Director of Development at San Jose State University, where they raised significant funds and worked on strengthening the university's brand and community involvement.

Janikke Klem has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science, with a minor in Dance, from San Jose State University. Janikke also holds a Master of Nonprofit Administration degree from the University of San Francisco. In addition, they are a Certified Holistic Health Coach, having received their certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
