Gary Horton

Gary Horton currently serves as Country Head for Australia and New Zealand at Federated Hermes - International since October 2020. Prior to this role, Gary held the position of Head of Institutional Business for Australia at Janus Henderson Investors, EMEA from September 2014 to October 2020, and previously served as Head of Institutional Business at Investors Mutual from May 2012 to September 2014. Gary's career includes significant leadership positions as Director of Financial Institutions at both ANZ (May 2010 - April 2012) and Westpac Institutional Bank (May 2006 - May 2010), along with a role in the Global Relationship Group at Wellington Management from March 2002 to May 2006. Gary holds an Honours degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Stellenbosch University.
