Laura Vaughan

Laura Vaughan, CFA, possesses extensive experience in finance and investment, currently serving as Head of Direct Lending at Federated Hermes Limited since August 2018. In addition to this role, Laura has been a Board Trustee at Rainbow Trust Children's Charity since November 2023. Prior experience includes positions as Director and Associate Director of Private Debt at Hermes Investment Management from November 2015 to August 2018, and Associate in Leveraged Finance at GE Capital from September 2014 to October 2015. Earlier roles include Associate Director of Acquisition Finance at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and Senior Analyst in Corporate Banking North America at AIB. Laura holds a BA in Economics from University College Dublin, completed in 2006.
