Glenn Case is the founder and CTO of Hermeus, a company that is developing hypersonic travel. Prior to Hermeus, Glenn was the Director of Propulsion and Structures at Generation Orbit Launch Services, Inc. There, they were responsible for designing and developing major propulsion system components for the GO1 system, including the propellant tanks (LO2 / JetA), propellant feed systems, and the pressurization/vent system. Glenn also developed 1D nodal network computation fluid dynamic models for the GO1 propellant feedlines and pressurization systems, and completed flexibility analyses of the propellant feed lines. In addition, they planned and qualified weld schedules for the propellant tank primary welds, and designed in-tank LO2 vacuum jacketed transfer tube.
Before joining Generation Orbit Launch Services, Inc., Glenn worked as a Propulsion Design and Development Engineer at Blue Origin for 4 years and 5 months. There, they were responsible for conducting test readiness reviews and serving as GO1 test director / conductor. Glenn also performed test data reduction and test data review.
Prior to Blue Origin, Glenn worked as a Thermo-Fluid Analysis Engineer at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration for 2 years and 3 months. Glenn was responsible for writing program reports and conducting research in computational fluid dynamics and thermal analysis / propulsion.
In addition to their work in the aerospace industry, Glenn is also a co-founder of Responsive Launch Systems, Inc., where they worked for 1 year and 6 months.
Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University, where they also worked as a Research Assistant in Computational Fluid Dynamics & Thermal Analysis / Propulsion for 2 years and 5 months.
Glenn Case has a B.S. from Tulane University in Mechanical Engineering and pursued education at Purdue University from 2005 to 2007.
The team that Glenn Case works with is the founding team of the company.
