Fara Santana

Fara Santana has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Fara currently holds the position of Director of Operational Excellence at Hernandez Construction & Development since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Verdex Construction from January 2021 to November 2022, and at Kast Construction from March 2020 to January 2021. Fara also served as a Senior Project Manager at Plaza Construction from March 2017 to March 2020. Earlier in their career, Fara worked as a Project Manager at MCM | Munilla Construction Management from 2012 to February 2017, and at James A. Cummings, Inc., A Tutor Perini Company from 2005 to 2012. Fara gained experience as a Project Engineer / Lead Estimator at HENSEL PHELPS from 2002 to 2005 and as an Assistant Project Manager at Structure Tone from 2000 to 2002. Fara's career in the construction industry began as an Administrative Assistant at MCM from 1997 to 2000.

Fara Santana holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management from Florida International University. Fara also has additional certifications in Paving/Pavement Marking Specialty Contractor from Miami-Dade County and Stormwater Management Inspector from the State of Florida.
