Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar currently serves as the Deputy Manager of Operations Leadership at Hero Motors, a position held since June 2019, following a role as Assistant Manager in Operations for the Sheet Metal division. Amit's expertise encompasses operations management, program management for the sheet metal business, and various aspects of industrial and manufacturing engineering, including daily operational MIS. Additionally, Amit participated in the Operations Leadership Program (OLP-1), focusing on new project development, manufacturing process engineering, machine layout, material handling equipment, business excellence projects, and investment planning and execution. Prior to this, Amit gained practical experience as an Internship Trainee at Diesel Locomotive Works Varanasi in mid-2018. Amit holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, earned in 2019.
