Rupert Morton

Rupert Morton is the Group Financial Controller at Heroes. Rupert has over six years of experience in finance, accounting, and management. Prior to joining Heroes, they were the Financial Controller at Secret Escapes from December 2015 to March 2021.

At Secret Escapes, Rupert was responsible for operational improvements, acquisitions & funding rounds, international expansion, team management and development, and crisis management. Under their leadership, the company grew from 12 UK employees to 45 Europe-wide employees. Rupert also navigated the company through challenging times such as the onset of Covid-19.

Rupert is a skilled financial leader with a proven track record of success. Rupert is a strategic thinker who is able to see the big picture and make decisions that are in the best interests of the company. Rupert is an excellent communicator and motivator, and they have a strong ability to build relationships with people at all levels.

Rupert Morton attended Winchester College, a public school in England, before going on to study at the University of Nottingham. Rupert then qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
