Hiram A. Negron

Hiram A. Negron has a strong background in the hospitality industry, with extensive experience in operations, management, and leadership roles. Hiram began their career at Highgate Hotels as an Assistant Front Office Manager in 2006 before moving to Hersha Hospitality in 2007. At Hersha Hospitality, they served as a Front Office Manager and later as an Assistant General Manager.

In 2009, Negron joined Candlewood Suites Times Square as the General Manager, where they successfully opened and managed the hotel, which eventually became the flagship location for the brand. Hiram achieved high levels of revenue and RevPar during their tenure.

Negron returned to Hersha Hospitality in 2010 as a General Manager before being promoted to various roles within the company. Hiram served as an Area General Manager, overseeing three branded assets in New York City and developing operational, marketing, and revenue strategies. Hiram then became a Regional Director of Operations, responsible for supporting and strategically managing a region of seven hotels within the HHM portfolio in NYC.

In 2016, Negron was promoted to the position of Senior Regional Director of Operations, and in 2018, they became the Regional Vice President of Operations. In these roles, they worked directly with General Managers, Revenue, and Sales teams to implement successful strategies for operational, physical, and fiscal performance of the hotels.

Most recently, in February 2022, Negron became the Senior Vice President of Operations at Hersha Hospitality Management, further showcasing their expertise and leadership in the industry.

Hiram A. Negron completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Finance and Banking at Borough of Manhattan Community College from 2003 to 2005. Hiram then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Finance at The City College of New York, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Hiram has obtained the Hotel Investment Analysis and Valuation Professional Development Gold Standard Course certification from New York University, although the specific month and year of attainment are not provided.
