Tommy Lewis

Tommy Lewis has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Tommy started their career as a Front Desk Supervisor at Courtyard by Marriott in 1987 and worked there until 1989. Tommy then joined Courtyard by Marriott again in 1990 as a Restaurant Manager Trainee.

In 1991, Tommy joined Interstate Hotels & Resorts as an Accounts Receivable Clerk and later became an Accounts Payable Clerk, responsible for processing invoices for a Golf Resort and Beach Condo.

From 1993 to 1995, Tommy worked as a Night Manager at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, where they managed a 149-room resort during the night shift and resolved guest issues.

In 1995, Tommy became an Accounting Manager at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, revenue capture, and state sales tax returns. Tommy also participated in inventories and hotel purchases.

From 1996 to 1998, Tommy worked as an Assistant Controller at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, assisting the Controller in managing accounting and night audit teams, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue capture, and state sales tax returns.

In 1998, Tommy was promoted to Director of Finance at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, where they continued to assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations and decentralized accounting and reporting activities.

Tommy joined Luxury Hotels and Resorts in 2006 as a Director of Finance, performing similar responsibilities of assisting the General Manager in operations and accounting and reporting activities.

In 2009, Tommy joined Hilton Worldwide as a Director of Finance, where they continued to assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations and accounting and reporting activities.

Finally, in 2015, Tommy joined Hersha Hospitality as a Financial Controller, responsible for all accounting and reporting activities to ownership and management company for a 744-room hotel with meeting space and multiple outlets.
