Young Jang has a diverse work experience. Young started their career in 2004 as a Paraprofessional Tutor at Montgomery County Community College. In 2007, they joined Concord Hospitality Enterprises as an Associate/Intern. Young then worked at Six Flags as a Financial Analyst & Revenue Manager from 2010 to 2011. After that, they joined Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group as a Director of Revenue Management from 2011 to 2015. Young then moved to Revenue Optimization Consultants as an Area Director of Revenue Strategy from 2015 to 2016. Currently, they are working at Hersha Hospitality as an Area Director of Revenue Management, starting in 2016.
Young Jang completed a Certification program in the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Penn State University from 2006 to 2009. Young also earned an Associate of Science degree in Accounting/Business Administration from Montgomery County Community College from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several additional certifications, including Certification for Hotel Industry Metrics and Analytics (CHMA) from the American Hotel & Lodging Association, Certification in Accounting from Montgomery County Community College, Certification in Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset management from Cornell University, and Certification in Revenue Management Executive (CRME) from HSMAI.
