Teresa Thomas has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Teresa started their career in 2007 with DePalma Hotel Corp/Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel, where they worked as a Sales Manager and Human Resource Manager, gaining experience in recruiting, hiring, and payroll. Teresa then transitioned to Comfort Inn and Suites Savannah Airport in 2010 as a General Manager, where they were involved in budgeting, marketing, and sales strategies.
From 2011 to 2013, Teresa worked as a General Manager at TMI Hospitality, gaining further experience in hotel operations. Teresa also worked as an Operations Manager at Hilton Garden Inn in 2012.
In 2014, Teresa became the General Manager at Hampton Inn and Suites Waco South, where they continued to oversee hotel operations. Teresa then moved to Hilton Garden Inn - Sarasota/Bradenton in 2017 as a General Manager.
Currently, Teresa is employed at HHM Hotels, starting in 2018. Teresa has held various roles, including Area General Manager, Area Director of Operations, and currently serves as the Area Director of Operations.
Teresa Thomas attended Rose State College from 2005 to 2008 and obtained an Associates degree in Human Resource Management. Teresa then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Leadership at The University of Oklahoma from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their academic education, Teresa has obtained several certifications including the General Manager Certification from Hilton Worldwide and is a Certified Starwood Service Culture Trainer from Starwood Hotels.
