Alex James

Alex James is an experienced professional in the field of policy and governance, currently serving as the Head of Corporate Policy at Hertfordshire County Council since April 2011. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Policy Advisor at the East of England Strategic Authority Leaders for two years and served as Executive Assistant to the Leader at Bedfordshire County Council. Alex's career began in the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities as HEO(D) from July 2002 to July 2006. Alex holds an MA in Pan European Politics from the University of Exeter and a BA (Hons) in Politics and History from Keele University.
