Meenal Sachdev

Meenal Sachdev is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community service and advocacy. Currently serving as a Trustee for Hertfordshire Community Foundation and an Ambassador for Cambridge Children's Hospital, Meenal is dedicated to integrating mental and physical healthcare for children and addressing healthcare gaps in the East of England. With a tenure as a Local Councillor at Hertsmere Borough Council since 2015, Meenal has held various roles, including Portfolio Holder for Community and Economic Development, focusing on issues such as food poverty and high street revival. As a Director at Shiva Foundation, efforts are concentrated on combating human trafficking and modern slavery through collaborative initiatives. Previous roles include serving as a Policy Advisor to the Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner and as Vice Chair of the Commonwealth 8.7 Network.
