Doug Krahnke

Regional Property Manager at Hertz Investment Group

Mr. Krahnke is responsible for directing the management and operations of the HIG portfolio in the Northeast and Midwest regions, as well as serving as General Manager for Gateway Center in Pittsburgh.

With over 27 years of commercial real estate management experience in multiple property types including office, retail, R&D and medical office, Mr. Krahnke has spent his career providing local, regional and national operational oversight for developers, owner/operators, and third-party management companies – including major real estate owners such as ProLogis, MetLife, and Morgan Stanley. Most recently, Mr. Krahnke was Associate Director for Newmark’s management services group in Pittsburgh, where he directed property, facilities and project management for a 4 million square foot portfolio in western Pennsylvania, western New York and West Virginia.

Mr. Krahnke has held the CPM designation since 2003 and earned the LEED AP accreditation in 2008. A member of both IREM and BOMA for over 20 years, he currently sits on the board of BOMA Pittsburgh. Mr. Krahnke has also served on the boards of both the IUOE Local 95 training fund and MOCA, an employers’ collective bargaining unit for downtown office buildings in the city of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Krahnke earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Pennsylvania State University, is a licensed real estate broker in Pennsylvania and actively serves as an interior firefighter for the Wexford Volunteer Fire Company.
