About

The board of directors at Heru is made up of experienced professionals in the fields of ophthalmology, epidemiology, public health, and primary care optometry. These individuals have worked at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country, including the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and the Wilmer Eye Institute. In addition to their academic and clinical experience, many of the board members also have experience in business and industry, having worked for companies such as National Vision Inc., Walmart, and FirstSight Vision Services.
