Mike Ruzek

Mike Ruzek, CHST, is an experienced safety professional with a career spanning over two decades in safety management and training. Currently serving as the Training Manager of Track, Structures, and RWP at Herzog since May 2021, Mike previously held roles such as Safety Manager at REYES CONSTRUCTION and So Cal Safety Manager at Herzog Contracting Corp. Other notable positions include Safety Manager at S E Pipe Line Construction, SSHO at Reyes Construction, and Safety Manager for the Southwest Region at Ames Construction. Mike's extensive background also includes leadership positions in safety management at Dynalectric San Diego and FlatIron Corp. Additionally, Mike served as a Level 1 Reserve Officer with the Murrieta Police Department. Mike's educational background includes P.O.S.T. certifications in Law Enforcement from Rio Hondo College and Criminal Justice/Police Science from Riverside City College.
