Jonathan Lean

Jonathan Lean is a seasoned petrophysicist and manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of Global Exploration Operations at Hess Corporation since March 2007. Lean leads petrophysical and geological operations and has a strong track record in global exploration activities, particularly in regions such as the Atlantic Margin, Gulf of Mexico, and Brazil. Previous roles at Hess include Senior Petrophysical Advisor for various projects and geographic focuses, as well as significant contributions to unconventional oil and gas opportunities. Prior to Hess, Lean held positions at BHP Billiton Petroleum and PGS Reservoir Consultants, and began a career at Enterprise Oil plc. Lean holds a Master of Engineering degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London.
