Steve Uchytil

Steve Uchytil is a seasoned geological professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently retired since September 2019. Uchytil served as a Senior Geological Advisor at Hess Corporation from 2003 to the present and held the position of Sr. Principal Geologist at EOG Resources from 2000 to 2003. Prior roles include Senior Principal Geologist at BP and Vastar, and various geological positions at ARCO, where Uchytil advanced to Director of Joint Ventures. Uchytil's foundational expertise in geology began at ARCO Oil and Gas Company, followed by a comprehensive education, obtaining a Master of Science from UC-Davis in 1979 and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Wisconsin - Superior in 1976.
