Het Concertgebouw
Eline Danker currently serves as the Directeur of the Concertgebouw Fonds at Het Concertgebouw and as a bestuurslid at the Turing Foundation, which aims to contribute to a better world and sustainable results. As voorzitter of Dansersfonds'79, Danker promotes the advancement of Dutch dance by supporting young dancers with scholarships and awards. Additional roles include bestuurslid at Zadelhoff Cultuurfonds, manager of programming and development at ARTIS | Natura Artis Magistra, and director of the Leids Universiteits Fonds. Previous positions include hoofd fondsenwerving & relatiebeheer at Nationale Opera & Ballet, hoofd business development at EYE Film Instituut Nederland, and commercial director at Stage Entertainment. Extensive experience also includes various leadership roles at The Walt Disney Studios, where Danker held positions such as Vice President for Buena Vista International and Home Entertainment Benelux. Eline Danker holds a Master’s Degree in French Literature and Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam.

Het Concertgebouw
Het was Bernard Haitink die Het Concertgebouw ooit roemde als het beste instrument van het orkest waaraan het onderdak biedt. Dat moet de Amsterdamse notabelen ook voor ogen hebben gestaan toen ze in 1881 besloten de hoofdstad een volwaardige concertzaal te schenken. Zeven jaar later prijkte er in het drassige weidegebied net buiten de gemeentegrens een wonder van neoclassicistische architectuur, Het Concertgebouw, dat zich inmiddels, evenals zijn belangrijkste bespeler het Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest, in een wereldwijde belangstelling mag verheugen. Met 800 concerten en andere evenementen trekt Het Concertgebouw jaarlijks 700.000 bezoekers.
