Nena van Balen

Nena van Balen is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in project management, particularly in sustainability and finance. Currently serving as the ESG Program Manager at Het Gastenhuis since February 2023, Nena focuses on developing sustainability goals and promoting eco-friendly practices within the healthcare sector. Previously, as a Project Manager in Finance at Het Gastenhuis, significant contributions were made by optimizing financial workflows. Nena has also held the role of Project Manager Digital at DTT, where innovative app, web, and game solutions were developed. Other experiences include roles as a Graduate Intern and Junior Recruiter at Randstad, Community Operations at Uber Freight, and involvement in marketing and sales at Integrand, the largest academic internship mediator in the Netherlands. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Economics and Business from Utrecht University and Aarhus BSS, along with a Bachelor's degree in Neuropsychology from Utrecht University.
