Christina Vandewalle

Christina Vandewalle has extensive experience in clinical data management and analytics, currently serving as Manager of Clinical Data & Analytics at Ziekenhuis Netwerk Antwerpen since November 1999, focusing on transforming clinical big data into smart data to support Value Based Healthcare. In addition, Christina has managed health policy support, overseeing MZG and cancer registration data for optimal bed management and staffing. Previous roles include leading the MZG Oazis working group at ZORGI, serving as Medical Registration Physician at UZ Brussel, and coordinating the Belgian Diabetes Register at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where data analysis contributed to several published articles and a PhD in medical sciences. Christina's educational credentials include multiple degrees in Medicine, Informatics, and a PhD from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, complemented by management programs from Antwerp Management School and Vlerick Business School.
