Katerina Mala's work experience begins in 2015, where they worked as a Project Assistant at China Center, z.s. In 2016, they interned as a Sales Forecast Intern at Groupe SEB. In 2017, they worked as a Customer & Market Insights employee at Hilti Group. Katerina then worked as a Junior Web Analyst at StepStone in 2019. In 2020, Katerina joined Avast as a Data Analyst in E-commerce, where they managed various projects aimed at improving payment methods and the checkout flow. Alongside their role at Avast, they also worked as a Freelance Online Marketer, setting up and managing PPC campaigns for a small service company and building company websites in WordPress. In 2022, they joined Heureka Group as a Product Manager, specializing in User Account & Identity Management.

Katerina Mala's education history starts in 2012 when they enrolled at Prague University of Economics and Business, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Business. During the same period, they also attended Charles University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Studies.

In 2014, Katerina attended Soochow University in China, studying Chinese Language and Culture for a year.

From 2017 to 2019, they attended the University of Mannheim, where they pursued a Mannheim Master in Management degree with a focus on Management and Marketing. In 2018, they took part in an exchange program at Université Laval, specializing in MBA studies for a semester.

Aside from their formal education, Katerina also obtained additional certifications to enhance their skills. In 2018, they received the Google Analytics Certificate from Google. In 2019, they further advanced their knowledge by completing the Advanced Google Analytics course, and in 2020, they obtained an Advanced Google Ads certification from LinkedIn.
